Take advantage of the building boom! If you’re eligible for Maori and Pasifika Trades Training (MPTT), then the fees are free. And in just 19 weeks you’ll gain the skills you need to become an apprentice or labourer in construction or allied trades.
If you already have a bit of experience in the construction industry, or have a Level 1 or 2 pre-trade qualification, this programme is your perfect next step. It’s fun, practical and workshop-based, so you’ll learn all the skills you need. With professional tutors and a Careers team on your side it’s a great stepping stone to a career as a plasterer or painter.
