Pre-Nursing Pathway (Level 3)
Have you always dreamed of becoming a nurse? The Pre-Nursing Pathway (Level 3) is a programme designed to make meaningful steps into the health industry. You will gain a greater understanding of the healthcare system in New Zealand and develop the necessary skills and confidence to succeed in the field.
Learn in a fun and supportive environment with guest speaker sessions, and group assignments. This programme is also a stepping stone towards preparing you for further studies. Upon completion, you will be prepared to apply for our higher-level Pre-Nursing programmes, or pathway to University degrees across New Zealand.
This course is also part of the government led Youth Guarantee Programme. If you are aged 16-24, and meet the course entry requirements, you can attend this course for FREE.
You will learn:
Health professionals – develop a good understanding of the healthcare system in New Zealand
Human body and development – learn the main concepts of human anatomy and physiology
Health and wellbeing – study the socio-economic, cultural and environmental factors that influence health
Study and Career Skills
