As NZMA is now a member of the Maori and Pasifika Trades Training (MPTT) Auckland Consortia, we can offer Maori and Pasifika learners, aged between 16-40 years, fees-free training in our Construction Level 4 and Painting & Plastering Level 3 programmes.

This programme sets you up to enter the construction industry as an apprentice or entry-level employee. You’ll gain loads of hands-on, practical experience, starting off with small workshop projects and eventually building a prefabricated timber sleepout, through our partnership with Go-Homes! You’ll also complete part of the theory component of the National Certificate in Carpentry (Level 3).
Land a job as Electricity Supply Electrical Apprentice or an Industrial Electrical Apprentice or pathway into further study and become a qualified electrician. The course is pre-entry foundation knowledge of electrical engineering and is suitable for those who wish to enter the industry and who do not yet have electrical apprenticeship agreement.
