NZMA partner with MPTT

As NZMA is now a member of the Maori and Pasifika Trades Training (MPTT) Auckland Consortia, we can offer Maori and Pasifika learners, aged between 16-40 years, fees-free training in our Construction Level 4 and Painting & Plastering Level 3 programmes.

If you’re keen to get into trades from the ground up, or build your skills, then check out your options.
With MPTT, complete our fees-free Construction programme or Painting & Plastering programme in 20 weeks!

Tap into the building boom! In just 20 weeks you’ll gain the skills you need to become an apprentice or labourer in construction or allied trades. If you’re eligible for MPTT, then the fees are free.

Certificate in Building - Construction Trades Skills (Level 4)

This programme sets you up to enter the construction industry as an apprentice or entry-level employee. You’ll gain loads of hands-on, practical experience, starting off with small workshop projects and eventually building a prefabricated timber sleepout, through our partnership with Go-Homes! You’ll also complete part of the theory component of the National Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4). If you’re eligible, Maori and Pasifika Trades Training (MPTT) will take care of your fees.
