Move ahead in Trades for FREE!  2022 is your last chance to study our Electrical Engineering course for FREE as part of the government's Targeted Training & Apprenticeship Fund (TTAF), regardless of prior study.

Our hands-on 32-week programme sets you up to enter the electrical industry as an entry-level employee. You could land a job as Electricity Supply Electrical Apprentice or an Industrial Electrical Apprentice or pathway into further study and become a qualified electrician.

The course is pre-entry foundation knowledge of electrical engineering and is suitable for those who wish to enter the industry and who do not yet have electrical apprenticeship agreement.

You’ll get to wire a sleepout, work on a two bedroom house, can carry out a limited range of prescribed electrical work safely and ethically under general supervision of a licensed and registered electrician.

NZMA Trades courses are full-time campus-based study (on-site hours vary from 4-7 hours per day depending on campus/course).
