10 July 2019 – A delegation from the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism visited NZMA, Hamilton campus on Friday 5th July and enjoyed meeting students and learning about our system of vocational education and competency based training.
Dr. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism, and the delegation were officially welcomed with a short performance by the NZMA Hamilton student Kapa Haka group. He then spoke about the growing tourism industry in Cambodia before taking an official tour of the NZMA campus.
NZMA Hamilton Campus Manager, Renske van Geffen is proud to have hosted the delegation and said, “These tours are really important to highlight our excellent campus facilities, and training opportunities. Education is a collaborative industry and we are sure the Cambodian delegation will learn a lot about our New Zealand experience”.
