19 December 2017 – In a world where competition for jobs can be fierce, it’s reassuring for NZMA graduates to know they are supported by a Careers Team, which is comprised of highly-experienced Career Development Consultants, who know the New Zealand job market inside and out.
NZMA Chief Executive Officer, Mark Worsop said, “In 2017, NZMA will place around 4000 students into employment opportunities, with over 80% of NZMA graduates gaining work or staircasing to higher studies, and very similar statistics were reported in 2016. With 11 campuses and over 30 qualifications, our Careers Team is highly adept at placing students in the right employment opportunity for them”.
He continued, “At each of our campuses we have Career Development Consultants who are happy to help, and advise our students on all the tools required for success. From CV preparation and interview skills, through to putting candidates forward for exciting employment opportunities, including work experience, internships, along with casual, part time and full time employment, the Careers Team do it all!”
To ensure a high calibre channel of work placement, NZMA has strong relationships with many of New Zealand’s major employers in hospitality, business, trades, retail, contact centre, health, pharmacy, early childhood education and floristry.
