NZMA Gets TEC Vote of Confidence

The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) has given NZMA its highest seal of approval, reinforcing the provider’s reputation as one of New Zealand’s top-ranked training establishments.

Of the 180-plus private training establishments (PTEs) throughout the country that are approved for government funding, NZMA is one of just five to be granted a multi-year investment plan cycle. The TEC endorsement further cements NZMA’s place at the top of the leader board in New Zealand’s tertiary education sector.

Divisional General Manager for the ACG Tertiary & Careers Group Mark Worsop said the latest Government recognition underpins NZMA’s commitment to delivering the very highest quality tertiary training.

“To be in a group of only five PTEs selected throughout NZ is a great accolade and shows the confidence the TEC have in our focus areas, our quality, and our long term strategies,” he said.

“We have made a conscious decision to focus on quality and alignment to Government priorities and industry needs.  Receiving this type of recognition is testament to all the hard work and commitment from the NZMA, Yoobee School of Design and NZCC teams.”
