ACG, New Zealand's leading independent educational services provider, has further expanded its Careers Division with the acquisition of Sir George Seymour and Travel Careers & Training Ltd.
Sir George Seymour and Travel Careers & Training have over 1,400 EFTS and offer Level 2 to Level 5 programmes for the airline, travel and tourism industry.
The company was owned by Nicole and Guy Domett who started Travel Careers & Training in 1985 and then bought Sir George Seymour in 2007. The company operates nine campuses throughout the country, including an airport campus which houses a full 737 aircraft.
Both Nicole and Guy Domett have been offered roles within the ACG Group and are looking forward to joining NZ’s leading diversified education group which offers a continued pathway for students from early childhood right through to tertiary.
ACG delivers education to over 10,000 students in three countries through its 14 schools and colleges. Sir George Seymour and Travel Careers & Training joins NZMA, New Zealand Career College and ACG Yoobee School of Design in ACG's Careers Division.
ACG Group Chief Executive, Owen Daji, said ACG was continuing to diversify its portfolio of high quality educational services. “Sir George Seymour and Travel Careers & Training is the fourth PTE ACG has acquired in 14 months, and all four are classified by NZQA as Category 1 providers, the highest rating.
Owen Daji said that ACG's capabilities covered early childhood education right through to advanced tertiary programmes.
