Mocktail competitions, free haircuts, cupcake decorating and a call centre script challenge are just a few of the fun-filled activities on offer at NZMA Auckland South’s Open Day on May 6.
Held from 10am til 1pm at 12-16 Gordon Road Otahuhu, the event is the perfect time for friends, family and the local community to check out the facilities and training options on offer at NZMA. It’s also the ideal time to talk to the industry leaders that teach NZMA’s highly respected certificate and diploma programmes in business, hospitality, contact centre, retail and construction.
“Open days are the ideal way for people to get a feel for what it’s like to study at NZMA,” said Deputy Campus Principal Pingi Valu-Maka.
“On the day, we’ll be showcasing all of our programmes. We’ll be giving away iPod shuffles, the Edge Road Runners will be dishing out spot prizes, and we’ve got some great entertainment lined up from Drums of the Pacific. It will be a lot of fun.”
But wait – there’s more! Uber-cool Hamilton barbers, the Barber Kingz, will offering free haircuts and designs, and visitors will be invited to participate in a game of giant jenga. Coffee demonstrations, napkin competitions and a mannequin dress-up challenge are also on the agenda.
See you there!
