International Students:

Year 1

Tuition Fees: NZ$19,500
Resource Fees: NZ$2,500

Year 2

Tuition Fees: NZ$12,450
Resource Fees: NZ$1,500

The New Zealand Government has imposed an international student levy on tuition and course related fees. From 1 January 2019 the levy will be 0.89% of the compulsory tuition fees.

Entry Requirements

  • You need to be 18 or older and have successfully completed the Certificate in Hospitality (Restaurant Service) (Level 4) (or one of NZMA’s other Level 4 courses).
  • If you haven’t, you’ll need some relevant work experience and you’ll need to achieve the required level in our evaluation.
  • If you are an international student, you also need to have completed high school and have an English level of 6.0 IELTS or equivalent* with no band score lower than 5.5
  • You must have travel and medical insurance and a valid visa. * Other English Tests / evidence may be approved as advised by NZQA
