If you’re new to the commercial cookery environment, this course has all the right ingredients to get you started. It’s ultra-practical and you’ll graduate knowing all about food safety and how to prepare basic dishes at an operational level. It’ll set you up with the basic skills commercial chefs are looking for in their kitchen staff.

International Students
Tuition Fees: NZ$10,500 Course Fee: NZ$1,700
The New Zealand Government has imposed an international student levy on tuition and course related fees. From 1 January 2019 the levy will be 0.89% of the compulsory tuition fees.
Entry Requirements
You need to be 16 or older.
If English is your second language you’ll need an IELTS score of at least 5.0 with no band score lower than 5.0, or the equivalent*.
* Other English Tests / evidence may be approved as advised by NZQA
