After graduating from this course you could be working in a paid hospitality job in just 8 weeks!

Licence requirements for a food and beverage operation
Unit Standard 16705 – Demonstrate knowledge of host responsibility requirements as a duty manager of licensed premises
Unit Standard 4646 – Demonstrate knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and its implications for licensed premises
This course is delivered across either 16 or 20 weeks. *16 week course is subject to NZQA approval
What qualifications will I gain?
New Zealand Certificate in Food and Beverage Service (Level 4) (with a strand in Restaurant Service)

International Students
The New Zealand Government has imposed an international student levy on tuition and course related fees. From 1 January 2019 the levy will be 0.89% of the compulsory tuition fees.
Entry Requirements
You need to be 16 years or older.
Applicants without formal qualifications must meet the minimum requirements of the NZMA entry assessment
If you are an international student, you must be 18 or older.
-Applicants who do not have English as a first language will need to show that they are capable of successfully completing the course by achieving and providing documented evidence of an IELTS Score of at least 5.5 with no band score lower than 5 OR equivalent
If English is your second language we may get you to sit an English Language Assessment.
If you are an international student, you also need to have an English level of 5.5 IELTS or equivalent* with no band score lower than 5
You must have travel and medical insurance and a valid visa.
* Other English Tests / evidence may be approved as advised by NZQA
