If you’re 16-19, the Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Level 3) will provide you with introductory skills and knowledge in the education and care of infants, toddlers and young children in Aotearoa/New Zealand. Work experience in an Early Childhood Education (ECE) centre will introduce you to the practical skills and experience needed to prepare for a career in this industry. If you’re looking to begin your training in ECE, this is the programme to start with.

This course is part of the government led Youth Guarantee Programme. If you are aged 16-19, and meet the course entry requirements, you can attend this course for FREE.
