This two-year full-time programme is offered at NZMA’s Auckland Central Academy.
What will I learn in the Diploma in Business (Advanced) Level 6?
After completing the Diploma in Business Level 5 students can choose to further their studies with the Diploma in Business (Advanced) Level 6. The Diploma in Business (Advanced) Level 6 includes the Diploma in Business Level 5.
The Diploma in Business (Advanced) Level 6 allows students to develop their skills in papers aligned with their major specialization. They also choose up to four optional unit standards.
Five major specialisations are available:
- Management
- Marketing
- Finance
- E-Business Strategies and
- Information Technology
Four modules from the following must also be selected;
- MS Office Solution Development
- Operations Management
- Financial Services
- Industry Experience (Internship)
- Administrative Practices and Procedures
- Project Management

What qualifications will I come away with?
After completing the Diploma in Business (Advanced) Level 6 you will gain two NZQA accredited qualifications and two Edexcel accredited qualifications (UK)

BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business (Major Specialisation)
Diploma in Business (Advanced) (Major Specialisation) Level 6

As a minimum international students must:
- be 18 years of age or older
- have completed high school
- meet the required level of English (IELTS 5.5/TOEFL 500) OR
- achieve the required level in the English language placement test administered at NZMA
- hold a valid visa and insurance

International course cost
NZ$15,400 plus NZ$1,500 resource fee per year (two-year programme)
Resource fee includes all course costs and materials (uniform and study material). Resource fee must be paid before arrival in NZ.
Offering of courses is subject to minimum enrolment numbers. Note the Refund Policy in the Enrolment Form and Student Handbook. Fees are current for courses starting after 1/1/2009, and may be subject to change at a later date. Course fees are in NZ dollars and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 12.5%, where applicable. Fees are not altered if student's status changes to Permanent Resident during the enrolment period paid for.
