Entry Requirements

Entry requirements for NZMA courses differ depending on the course you choose and whether you are a domestic or international student*

NZMA general entry requirements include:

•    Applicants need to be 16 years or older to study one of NZMA’s Business, Retail or Contact Centre courses
•    Applicants need to be 18 years or older to study one of NZMA’s Hospitality courses
•    Applicants need to complete the programmes entry evaluation
 

English language requirements:

Students who do not have English as a first language will need to show that they are capable of successfully completing the course by meeting the following entry condition:

An IELTS score of at least 5.5, or an equivalent internationally-recognised English language competency qualification

OR Achieve the required level in the NZMA English Language Assessment.
